Synopsis
A married couple (Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch) move back to his childhood village to start a family, but a surprise visit from the husband's brother (Shaun Evans) lures them towards a dark past and exposes the lies embedded in the couple's relationship.
Wreckers stars Claire Foy (Wolf Hall), Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Shaun Evans (Endeavour). WRECKERS premiered at the BFI London International Film Festival 2011, where director D R Hood was nominated for best British debut. WRECKERS’ US premiere was at Palm Springs IFF 2012 and the film won the Perspectives award at Moscow IFF 2012. The film has screened three times on the BBC, and has had cinema release in the UK, Japan and Korea. WRECKERS can be seen in the UK and internationally through Netflix, Amazon and other streaming services.
